While Justin is no stranger to the podium, Ronnie hasnt had the success Justin has found, until now. Riding an old beat up buttboard, found laying in Justin's garage, and Justin's old yellow TRS sled, Ronnie was a force to be reckoned with this weekend.

Justin equipped his luge with the brand new GPS Magnum 88s and they rode well in qualifying, putting him a mere 7 tenths behind Brian Lee, 3rd place on the charts. Ronnie was riding severely worn Flywheels and wound up 6th.

[b:bb99c88112]Race Day[/b:bb99c88112]
Ronnie was having some difficulty on his luge navigating the gnarly 90 degree right hand corner and switched out his worn flywheels for GPS Magnum 88s for morning practice (also setting up just 2 trucks/4wheels total). The change was obvious when on the final practice run of morning warmup Ronnie came flying into the corner nailing the perfect line giving him loads of confidence for the rest of the day.
Justin and Ronnie raced together in the semi-final round of street luge, playing it safe as they both wanted to guarantee they both transfered, with Justing crossing the line just in front of Ronnie. That sent them onto the finals with Brian Lee and Chris McBride.
Brian jumped out to an early lead with his strong paddle off the line. Ronnie slotted in second just behind Brian with Justin in 3rd and McBride right on Justin's tail. McBride got ahead of Justin just before the chicane and was looking to make a move on Ronnie going into the 90. Ronnie shut the door and dove in after Brian. Justin had a smoother line through the corner than Ronnie and Chris in front of him and managed to pass both of them on corner exit, finishing a few lengths behind Brian. It was a wild finish that Justin was sure wasn't going to end well with all the riders so close together but everyone made it through clean.

In classic luge, Riley was fast all day. Justin and Ronnie met him in the finals along with Chrisian Conaway. Riley jumped to an early lead with Justin in second followed by Christian and Ronnie fighting it out for 3rd place. Justin tried to get through the 90 quicker than Riley but that was no easy task. Both Justin and Riley ran nearly the exact same line at the same speed, resulting in Riley maintaining his position and earning the victory. Meanwhile, Christian made a divebomb pass on Ronnie in the 90 but just couldnt hold the inside line, sliding out into the hay, allowing Ronnie to take final podium position.
